East meets west in a summer cocktail
During our recent trip to California, we met some incredible bartenders who introduced us to a unique fusion: combining Bandoeng’22 with Mezcal. The result? A delightful blend of two cultures and two continents in one refreshing cocktail. Presenting the Bandoeng’22 Paloma—a take on a classic Mexican long drink, perfect for those summer days.
Preparation Method of Bandoeng’22 Paloma
1. Rim a high tumbler glass with salt.
2. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
3. Pour in Bandoeng’22, Mezcal, grapefruit juice, and lime juice.
4. Garnish with a pandan leaf and add extra ice cubes.
5. Top off the cocktail with soda water.
6. Finish with a wedge of grapefruit.
Enjoy the harmonious blend of East and West in every sip!

Foodpairing suggestion
We like to serve Gado Gado with our Bandoeng’22 Paloma. It’s one of Indonesia national dishes and a very popular salade in Southeast Asia. The combination of vegetables and  proteins coated in a spicy peanut dressing paired with this refreshing cocktail is our suggestion. For the recipe of this dish, click here
