In Indonesian kitchens, the word Rempah refers to the collection of spices that form the heart of traditional cooking. For Bandoeng’22, Rempah represents both heritage and inspiration. The flavor profile
On the eyes; Emerald green, because pandan naturally makes everything green.
On the nose; First you get some nutmeg, cocoa and hazelnut. Later, some nutty and botanical fragrances appear.
While tasting; Reminiscent of freshly baked apple crumble, with some sweet vanilla, almond and cinnamon on the palate.
At the finish; A nice floral and popcorn aftertaste without overpowering the other ingredients.

Our families are from Bandung (Indonesia), but did you know that in the early days of the last century the city of Bandoeng (old spelling) was a joyful and elegant place to be? The Asian Art Deco city was in 1922 also known as Paris from Java and was full of high society, jazz, cocktail parties, style and glamour. Also a lot of pandan is being used in Bandung. Therefore the perfect name for our Pandan Liqueur.
