The holidays are coming and then we will enjoy extensive food and drinks with friends and family. But what do you serve between dishes? A spoom (or spoon) of course!

A spoom consists of sorbet ice cream, water-based fruit ice cream, topped with a cool and sparkling drink. A spoom is meant to neutralize the taste buds. It is therefore often served after a heavy or spicy starter.

Ingredients (per person)
Scoop of lemon sorbet ice cream (AH)
25 ml Bandung’22 Pandan liqueur
teaspoon Crackling sugar (candy store)

Method of preparation
Remove the sorbet ice cream from the freezer and scoop a small scoop of ice cream per person and place it in a festive glass or bowl. Pour Bandoeng’22 Pandan Liqueur over the sorbet ice cream. Open the bag of popping sugar bought in a traditional sweet shop and sprinkle a teaspoon of it over the scoop of sorbet ice cream. Serve immediately!
