We recently began collaborating with The Cocktail Agency, owned by Dave Mulder, an internationally recognized mixologist and industry adviser. Based in Amsterdam, with roots in Indonesia, Dave’s expertise blends passion and heritage seamlessly. We asked Dave to create his favorite Bandoeng’22 cocktail and share the recipe with us.

Dave crafted the Strawberry Pandan Margarita, an exceptional cocktail that showcases the perfect harmony between Tequila and pandan liqueur. The sweet, fruity essence of strawberries also pairs beautifully with the Asian vanilla notes, making this drink a true masterpiece.

About Dave Mulder
Before founding his own companies, Dave was the leading bar manager at MOMO Restaurant, Bar & Lounge in Amsterdam. Over the past decade, he has been involved in many successful bar startups in high-end hotels.

Dave has won numerous international competitions and is a board member of the Dutch bartender guild (Nederlandse Bartenders Club). He has also trained and coached Dutch cocktail champions for international competitions.

Today, Dave focuses on The Cocktail Agency (TCA) and The Gourmet Agency (TGA). Method for preparing Dave’s Strawberry Pandan Margarita:
Put all ingredients in a shaker and shake with ice for 14 seconds and strain into a coupe or martini glass. Garnish with a strawberry kiss & gold dusted peanuts.

Ingredients
30ml (1.0 oz) Bandoeng ’22 liqueur
30ml (1.0 oz) LALA Tequila Blanco
20ml (0.5 oz) Strawberry puree
10ml (0.25 oz) White Chocolate syrup
30ml (1.0 oz) Lime juice
