This Bandoeng’22 interpretation introduces the delicate aroma of pandan to the classic recipe. Known for its notes of vanilla, fragrant rice and subtle tropical character, pandan softens the tartness of cranberry while adding depth and complexity.

The result is a Cosmopolitan that feels familiar yet distinctive, with a smoother and more rounded finish.

 

Ingredients

  • 30 ml (1.5 oz) Vodka
  • 20 ml (0.5 oz) Bandoeng’22 Pandan Liqueur
  • 20 ml (0.5 oz) Triple Sec or Cointreau
  • 30 ml (1.5 oz) Cranberry Juice
  • 10 ml (0.3 oz) Fresh Lime Juice
  • Orange peel (garnish)
  • Pandan leaf (garnish)
  • Glassware chilled Coupe glass
  • Cubed ice

 

Method

  1. Chill a Martini or coupe glass.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  3. Add all ingredients.
  4. Shake vigorously for approximately 15 seconds.
  5. Double strain into the chilled glass.
  6. Garnish with an orange peel or lime wheel.

 

Taste profile

Bright cranberry and fresh citrus lead the cocktail, followed by soft notes of orange and pandan. The vodka provides structure while Bandoeng’22 Pandan Liqueur contributes layers of vanilla, fragrant rice and gentle spice. Refreshing, elegant and beautifully balanced.
