The Bandoeng’22 Sour

You’re drinking Pandan cake as a cocktail

You can make delicious cocktails with Bandoeng’22 Pandan Liqueur. And as an ode to the national pride of Singapore and Malaysia, we have created a Sour that tastes like Pandan Cake. The airy protein in this cocktail gives it a real cake taste!

Ingredients
40ml (1.35 fl oz) Bandoeng’22
50ml (1.01 fl oz) lemon juice
10ml (0.5 fl oz) sugar syrup
Eggwhite
Lemon peel and blackberries for garnish

Method of preparation
Pour into a cocktail glass filled with ice, one part pandan liqueur, one part fresh lemon juice and sugar syrup. Add the egg white to it. Shake well until everything is cold and fluffy! Pour into a tumbler glass filled with ice (above a sieve). Garnish the whole with a lemon peel, beautiful pandan leaf and some blackberries on a skewer.

Food Pairing Tip
What to eat with it? Better yet: what to drink with your meal! This refreshing cocktail tastes amazing alongside a plate of sushi, sashimi, or tempura prawns.
