Bandoeng’22 in the Danish market
We recently entered the Danish market with our product, and we discovered that Brønnum, a renowned cocktail bar in Copenhagen, is now crafting cocktails with Bandoeng’22. It’s the perfect time to get acquainted.
Copenhagen
The cocktail scene in Copenhagen is blossoming, with a diverse array of bars ranging from straightforward dive bars to luxurious neighborhood spots and expansive multi-floor establishments. Although the cocktail-bar culture in Copenhagen is relatively young, dedicated bartenders are working hard to elevate it. The city boasts a mix of beloved classics and exciting new bars pushing the industry forward, such as Brønnum.
About Brønnum
Brønnum is the epitome of what a cocktail bar should be: a blend of tradition and trendiness, offering a laid-back yet elegant atmosphere. Entering this historic building from the lively streets of Kongens Nytorv feels like stepping back in time.
The bar consists of six distinct rooms, each with its own unique ambiance, providing varying levels of intimacy. From the lively entrance and main bar to the secluded private dining room, Brønnum has a space for every occasion.
Cocktails
Whether you’re socializing with friends or unwinding after work, Brønnum’s extensive cocktail menu will keep you coming back. From classics like the Old Fashioned and Pisco Punch to seasonal originals, there’s something for every palate.
One standout is the Pandan Express cocktail, created by Stipe Blazincic (more about Stipe in the next post) The Pandan Express is a luxurious drink made with Hennessy cognac, our beloved Bandoeng’22 Pandan Liqueur, Mondino Amaro, and orange juice, clarified through a cream wash for a smooth finish.

Heritage
Brønnum has served as a café, bar, and restaurant for over 125 years, attracting people from all walks of life, including famous Danish musicians, artists, and writers like H.C. Andersen. Though the bar has been refurbished, it still exudes history and charm, exemplified by the beautifully carved bar, once part of an apothecary, made from wood dating back 100-150 years.
