Bringing our Indonesian-inspired Pandan Liqueur to Battersea Power Station

London, here we come! From September 11th to 13th, Bandoeng’22 will be joining celebrASIA at Battersea Power Station, London’s largest South East Asian festival.

Together with our UK importer and distribution partner PR Dutch Drinks, we will be introducing Bandoeng’22 Pandan Liqueur to thousands of visitors through cocktails, refreshing highballs and, of course, a taste of our liqueur served neat.

For us, it is a great opportunity to bring Bandoeng’22 directly to both consumers and drinks professionals in one of our newest markets.

A celebration of South East Asia

celebrASIA brings the flavors, cultures and creativity of South East Asia to one of London’s most iconic locations. The three-day festival features South East Asian street food and bars, live music, performances, workshops, an artisan market and a wide variety of brands and makers from across the region. That makes it a natural place for Bandoeng’22.

Our roots lie in both the Netherlands and Indonesia, and our Pandan Liqueur was created to introduce one of Southeast Asia’s most distinctive flavors to a wider international audience. At celebrASIA, we will be surrounded by exactly the kind of people we want to meet: those who are curious about Asian flavors, food, drinks and culture.

For visitors who have never tasted pandan before, celebrASIA will be an opportunity to discover just how versatile this iconic Southeast Asian ingredient can be. Throughout the weekend, we will be serving Bandoeng’22 Pandan Liqueur neat, in cocktails and in refreshing highballs.

Three different ways to experience pandan, from its aromatic character in its purest form to seeing how it works as an ingredient behind the bar.

And if you discover a new favorite? Bottles of Bandoeng’22 Pandan Liqueur will also be available to purchase during the festival, so you can continue experimenting with pandan at home.

Building Bandoeng’22 in the UK

Our presence at celebrASIA is another important step in building Bandoeng’22 in the United Kingdom. Since partnering with PR Dutch Drinks, our Pandan Liqueur has become available to British hospitality businesses and consumers. Now it is time to introduce the brand to an even wider audience.

Events such as celebrASIA give us something that distribution alone cannot: the opportunity to meet people, pour a glass, explain where Bandoeng’22 comes from and let the flavor do the rest.

Representing Bandoeng’22 throughout the weekend will be our co-founder Fajar Ramadhany, who was born in Jakarta and has been closely involved in bringing our shared Dutch-Indonesian heritage to life through Bandoeng’22.

Together with the PR Dutch Drinks team, he will be there to talk pandan, pour drinks and meet consumers, bartenders and other drinks professionals.
