The Bandoeng’22 Pandan Mai Tai
The Mai Tai is one of the most famous tiki cocktails in the world, originally created to highlight the rich flavour of rum combined with lime, orange curaçao and orgeat syrup.
The Bandoeng’22 Pandan Mai Tai adds a tropical Southeast Asian twist by introducing pandan liqueur to the recipe. The aromatic notes of pandan bring subtle flavours of vanilla and coconut that blend beautifully with rum and citrus. The result is a layered tiki cocktail that is refreshing, complex and unmistakably tropical.

Why pandan works in tiki cocktails
Tiki cocktails often combine rum with tropical flavours such as citrus, almond and spices. Pandan fits perfectly into this flavour profile thanks to its fragrant aroma, often described as a combination of vanilla, coconut and fresh herbs. When added to a Mai Tai, pandan enhances the tropical character of the drink while adding a distinctive Southeast Asian twist.
