Why pandan works in colada cocktails
Colada-style cocktails combine rich coconut with bright tropical fruit flavours. Pandan fits perfectly within this flavour profile because its aroma is often described as a mix of vanilla, coconut and fresh herbs. When combined with pineapple and rum, pandan enhances the tropical character of the drink while adding a distinctive Southeast Asian twist.
