At the end of last month, Marc Pieplenbosch headed to Bucharest to connect with the team from Negroni Trading, our trusted importer and distributor in Romania. His mission? To officially launch Bandoeng’22 Pandan Liqueur with a masterclass and a bar takeover.
When your very first large-scale order comes with the request to introduce the product in person, you pack your bags. That’s exactly what we did—Marc led the way and followed the Bandoeng’22 shipment from close behind.
Marc hosted a Pandan Masterclass for the team of Negroni Trading and a select group of bartenders from some of Bucharest’s top spots, including the Negroni Aperitivo Bar. While the unique taste of pandan isn’t widely known in Romania, the local love for sweet and adventurous cocktails made Bandoeng’22 an instant hit.
Later that evening, Marc stepped behind the bar to help shake things up with Bucharest’s finest. Guests were treated to a showcase of Bandoeng’22 cocktails, including the Bandoeng’22 Mule, the Pandan Negroni by Julian Bayuni, and the Bandoeng’22 Tai Mai by Thijn Koning, all met with enthusiastic approval.
