Introducing our second liqueur to the Dutch bar community

On September 8th and 9th, Bandoeng’22 will return to the Perfect Serve Barshow Amsterdam, one of the leading meeting places for bartenders, bar owners, drinks professionals and brands in the Netherlands.

This year will be a particularly special edition for us. Together with our Dutch distribution partner Pineapple Drinks Club, we will not only be pouring our award-winning Bandoeng’22 Pandan Liqueur, but will also officially introduce our brand-new Bandoeng’22 Spiced Tamarind Liqueur to the Dutch B2B market.

From pandan to tamarind

Since its launch, Bandoeng’22 Pandan Liqueur has found its way into bars and restaurants across the Netherlands and far beyond. Perfect Serve has always been an important place for us to reconnect with the bartenders who work with pandan, discover what they are creating and introduce the liqueur to a new generation of drinks professionals.

This year, we are adding a completely new flavor to that conversation.

Inspired by rujak, Indonesia’s iconic spicy fruit salad, Bandoeng’22 Spiced Tamarind Liqueur brings together the distinctive sweet and sour character of tamarind with warming spices and a subtle savory touch. The result is a versatile liqueur with a vibrant balance of sweet, sour, spicy and umami.

Perfect Serve Barshow will mark its official introduction to bartenders and hospitality professionals in the Netherlands.

Created for the modern bar

With Spiced Tamarind Liqueur, we want to do for tamarind what we have been doing for pandan: introduce an iconic Southeast Asian flavor to a wider audience and show its potential behind the bar.

Tamarind has long played an important role in Asian, Latin American, African and Caribbean cuisines, but remains relatively unexplored as a cocktail ingredient in many European bars.

Its natural combination of acidity, fruitiness and depth makes it particularly interesting for cocktails. From refreshing highballs and mules to sours, palomas and more adventurous signature serves, Spiced Tamarind opens up a completely new flavor direction for bartenders.

Together with Pineapple Drinks Club

For this year’s show, we are joining forces with one of our Dutch distribution partner Pineapple Drinks Club, an Amsterdam-based importer and distributor of distinctive spirits and cocktail ingredients.

Together, we look forward to welcoming bartenders, bar managers, hospitality professionals and other visitors to discover both sides of Bandoeng’22: the familiar aromatic character of pandan and the bold, complex flavors of our new Spiced Tamarind Liqueur.

And, of course, we are especially looking forward to catching up with the many bartenders who already have Bandoeng’22 Pandan Liqueur behind their bars.

The 12th edition of the Perfect Serve Barshow Amsterdam takes place on September 8th and 9th, 2026, at WestWeelde in Amsterdam.

For us, Perfect Serve is about more than presenting our products. It is where we meet the people who ultimately bring our liqueurs to life: the bartenders who taste, experiment, create and introduce new flavors to their guests.
