Why this pandan cocktail works
The Bandler works because it keeps things simple. The pandan liqueur adds a soft aromatic sweetness with notes often described as vanilla-like, floral and lightly coconutty, while the Radler brings citrus brightness, gentle bitterness and a light sparkling character. Fresh lime juice sharpens the whole drink and keeps it lively.
The result is an easy-going cocktail that feels lighter than many classic mixed drinks, while still offering a distinctive tropical flavour profile. It is a perfect serve for guests who enjoy refreshing drinks with a twist and an ideal introduction to pandan in cocktails.

Food pairing
The Bandler pairs beautifully with Asian snacks and light dishes such as:
- crispy lumpia or spring rolls
- chicken satay with peanut sauce
- tempura vegetables or shrimp tempura
- grilled chicken skewers
- sushi and sashimi
- Indonesian bites such as lemper or risoles
The cocktail’s citrus lift and sparkling freshness help cleanse the palate, while pandan’s aromatic sweetness connects beautifully with flavours such as peanut, coconut, lime, spices and lightly fried dishes.
