Bandoeng’22 Spiced Tamarind Mezcalita

Smoky, tangy and boldly refreshing

The Spiced Tamarind Mezcalita brings together the smoky character of mezcal with the sweet, sour and subtly savory depth of Bandoeng’22 Spiced Tamarind Liqueur.

Fresh lime adds brightness and acidity, while tamarind gives the drink a deeper, fruitier tang. Mezcal brings smoke and earthy agave notes, creating a cocktail that is bold and complex, yet remarkably refreshing. A half Tajín rim adds chili, citrus and salt, enhancing both the mezcal and the spiced character of the liqueur.

A distinctive alternative to the classic Margarita for drinkers looking for something with a little more depth and attitude.

Flavor Profile

Smoky, tangy and vibrant, with earthy agave, bright lime and rich tamarind, followed by warming spice and a subtle savory depth. The Tajín rim adds a final touch of chili, citrus and salt.

Where smoke meets tamarind

Mezcal and tamarind are natural partners. The earthy, smoky character of mezcal provides a powerful base for tamarind’s distinctive sweet-sour fruitiness.

Bandoeng’22 Spiced Tamarind Liqueur adds another layer with warming spices and subtle savory notes. Fresh lime lifts the drink and keeps the combination bright, while the Tajín rim connects the fruit, smoke, acidity and spice.

The result sits somewhere between a Margarita and a more culinary-style cocktail: recognizable enough to be immediately approachable, but with enough complexity to stand out on a modern cocktail menu.
